Business Settings
Configure currency, timezone, date format, and other business-level settings.
Overview
Business Settings let you configure the general preferences for your Accoraze workspace. These settings affect how data is displayed, formatted, and processed across all modules.
Accessing Business Settings
Go to Settings → Business Settings.
Key Settings
Default Currency
Set the currency used for all transactions, products, and reports. This affects how prices and amounts are displayed throughout the platform.
Choose the currency that matches your primary market. If you deal with multiple currencies, record the dominant one here.
Date Format
Choose how dates are displayed in Accoraze — for example, DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY. This affects timestamps on sales, expenses, reports, and logs.
Timezone
Accoraze uses the timezone you set here for displaying dates and times in reports and logs. Set this to match your business location for accurate reporting.
Decimal Places
Configure how many decimal places are used for prices and quantities. Most businesses use 2 decimal places for currency.
Receipt Printer Width
If you use a thermal receipt printer, set the paper width (usually 80mm or 58mm). This ensures receipts print correctly without cutting off content.
Other Settings
Low Stock Threshold Default
When creating a product, you can set a low stock alert threshold. Set a default value here that applies to all new products unless overridden individually.
Default Tax Rate
Set a default tax rate for products and sales. This can be overridden per product or per transaction as needed.
Invoice Prefix
Add a prefix to invoice numbers (e.g., "INV-", "BILL-"). This helps you organize invoices from different businesses or departments.
Changing Settings After Data Exists
Changing currency, date format, or timezone will affect how new data is displayed. Existing records retain the format they were entered with. If you need to update historical data formatting, contact support.
