Overview

The Account & Business Setup section covers everything you need to configure your Accoraze workspace — from your personal profile to your business branding and email delivery.

These settings shape how your business appears to customers on invoices, receipts, and other documents.

Getting Started

Before you start processing sales and sending invoices to customers, make sure your business details are complete:

  1. Go to Settings → Business Information and fill in your company details
  2. Upload your logo under Settings → Branding
  3. Configure SMTP email settings so invoices and receipts can be emailed to customers

Key Concept: Platform Email vs. Business SMTP

Understanding the two email systems in Accoraze is important:

  • Platform email — Handles system messages like password resets, email verification, and account notifications. Works automatically without any configuration.
  • Business SMTP — Sends customer-facing emails (invoices, receipts, order confirmations) from your own business email address. Requires configuration under Settings → SMTP.

Without SMTP configured, customers will not receive emailed invoices and receipts. They can still be downloaded as PDFs manually.
