Security Logs
Monitor login attempts, session activity, and security-related events.
Overview
Security Logs track account-level security events — primarily login and authentication activity. They help you monitor who is accessing your Accoraze account and detect any suspicious behavior.
Accessing Security Logs
Go to Settings → Security Logs or Logs → Security.
What Security Logs Record
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Successful login | A user signed in to the account |
| Failed login | A failed sign-in attempt (wrong password, etc.) |
| Password reset | A password reset was requested or completed |
| Email verification | An email address was verified |
| Session start | A new session began |
| Session end | A session was ended (logout or timeout) |
What Each Log Entry Shows
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Date & Time | When the event occurred |
| Event | Type of security event |
| User | Which account was involved |
| IP Address | Where the request came from |
| Device / Browser | What device or browser was used |
| Result | Success or failure of the event |
Why Security Logs Matter
Detect Unauthorized Access
If you see login events you do not recognize — logins from unfamiliar locations, devices, or at unusual times — this could indicate someone else has access to your account.
Failed Login Attempts
Repeated failed login attempts may indicate a brute-force attack or someone trying to guess your password. If you see many failures in a short time, change your password and consider enabling additional security measures.
Session Monitoring
Security logs show when and where your account was accessed. This helps you identify whether multiple sessions are active simultaneously.
Reviewing Security Logs Regularly
Set a routine to review your security logs — weekly or monthly — to catch any unusual activity early.
Look for:
- Logins from unfamiliar locations or countries
- Multiple failed login attempts
- Logins at unusual hours
- Sessions you do not recognize
What To Do If You See Suspicious Activity
- Change your password immediately — use a strong, unique password
- Review active sessions — if possible, end sessions you do not recognize
- Contact support — report the activity and ask for assistance
- Check other accounts — if you use the same password elsewhere, change it there too
Security Best Practices
- Use a strong password — include letters, numbers, and symbols
- Do not reuse passwords — use a unique password for Accoraze
- Review logs regularly — catch suspicious activity early
- Limit user access — only invite people you trust; remove users who no longer need access
- Enable email verification — ensure your email is verified so you receive password reset emails
