Receipt PDF

Generate and download a PDF receipt for completed sales.

Overview

A receipt is a proof of purchase document given to a customer at the point of sale. Accoraze generates professional, branded PDF receipts for every completed sale.

When Is a Receipt Generated?

A receipt is automatically generated when a sale is completed through the POS. You can also generate a receipt later from the Sales Records or Orders section.

Generating a Receipt PDF

  1. Go to Sales Records or Orders
  2. Find the completed sale
  3. Click Receipt or Download Receipt
  4. Choose to Print, Download PDF, or Email (if SMTP is configured)

Receipt Printer vs. PDF

Thermal Receipt Printers

If you use a thermal receipt printer (80mm or 58mm width), receipts print in a narrow, compact format designed for receipt paper. Set the correct paper width in Business Settings.

PDF Receipts

PDF receipts are formatted for A4 or Letter-size paper. They include the same information as printed receipts but in a larger layout suitable for archiving or emailing.

Branding on Receipts

Receipts use your business branding:

Reprinting a Receipt

To reprint or re-download a receipt:

  1. Go to Sales Records
  2. Find the sale by date, customer, or ID
  3. Click on the sale
  4. Click ReceiptPrint or Download

Reprinting does not create a new receipt — it uses the same receipt number and transaction record.

Emailing a Receipt

If SMTP is configured, you can email the receipt to your customer:

  1. Open the sale
  2. Click Email Receipt
  3. Confirm or enter the customer's email address
  4. Add an optional message
  5. Send

Without SMTP configured, you can download the PDF and attach it to an email sent from your own email client.
