Create a Sale
Process customer transactions at the Accoraze point of sale.
Overview
The POS module in Accoraze lets you process sales quickly. Search or browse products, add them to the transaction, apply any discounts, and complete the payment.
Steps
1. Open the POS
Go to POS in the sidebar. The POS screen shows your product catalog and an active sale area.
2. Add Products
Search for products by name or browse the catalog. Click a product to add it to the current sale. Adjust quantities as needed.
3. Apply Discounts (if needed)
If a discount applies to the sale or an individual item, enter the discount before completing the transaction.
4. Complete Payment
Select the payment method and complete the transaction. Accoraze supports cash and other payment methods depending on your configuration.
5. Generate Receipt
After payment, a receipt is generated automatically. You can:
- Print the receipt on a connected receipt printer
- Download the receipt as a PDF
- Email the receipt to the customer (if SMTP is configured)
Held Orders
If a customer cannot complete payment immediately, you can hold the order and resume it later. Held orders are saved in the Orders section.
