Sales Reports
Analyze your sales performance by date, product, or staff.
Overview
Sales Reports give you a detailed view of your revenue and transaction data. Use these reports to understand sales trends, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
Accessing Sales Reports
Go to Reports → Sales Reports.
What Each Report Shows
Summary Report
An overview of sales for the selected period:
- Total revenue
- Number of transactions
- Average transaction value
- Total items sold
Detailed Report
A line-by-line breakdown of each sale:
- Date and time
- Sale ID
- Customer name
- Items sold
- Subtotal, discount, and total
- Payment method
Sales by Product
Shows which products are selling the most:
- Product name
- Quantity sold
- Revenue generated
- Percentage of total sales
Sales by Category
Aggregates sales by product category:
- Category name
- Total items sold
- Total revenue
- Percentage of total
Filtering Reports
By Date Range
Select a custom date range or use preset periods:
- Today
- Yesterday
- This week
- This month
- Last month
- Custom range
By Customer
Filter to see sales for a specific customer.
By Payment Method
View sales broken down by payment type (cash, card, etc.).
Exporting Reports
All sales reports can be exported to CSV:
- Set your desired filters and date range
- Click Export
- Download the CSV file for use in spreadsheets or other tools
Common Uses
Daily reconciliation
Run a sales report for today to see total revenue and compare it against your cash drawer.
Identifying top products
The sales-by-product report shows which items generate the most revenue, helping you focus on high-performing products.
Staff performance
If staff are linked to sales, review sales by date to see transaction volume trends.
Data Accuracy
Sales reports reflect data entered through the POS. Make sure:
- All sales go through Accoraze (not recorded offline)
- Refunds are recorded to keep totals accurate
- Stock levels are current for inventory reports
